Sustainable ranching

Mexico is one of the 12 most mega-diverse countries in the world and it is estimated that between 10 and 12% of the world’s species live within its territory. Of the 32 states consisting of the Mexican Republic, Chiapas is the second with the greatest biodiversity and forest coverage. In general two key gaps were found that today doesn’t allow for a sustainable business plan to be developed long-term
around the sale and processing of milk in Chiapas, and for which short-term activities can trigger the escalation of sustainable production systems.
